Morthland College Preparatory Academy has partnered with Veritas Press to provide a classical, Christian education to students of high school age. Veritas Press is dedicated to the purpose of providing Christ-centered curriculum including online courses for young people of elementary, middle school, and secondary ages. Through the Veritas Press Scholars Academy, Veritas offers a Diploma Program for high school students. Morthland College Preparatory Academy (MCPA) students will be enrolled in the Diploma Program. The Diploma Program requires students to complete courses in English, Logic and Rhetoric, Science, Mathematics, and ancient and modern languages as well as Omnibus courses. Omnibus courses intertwine history, theology and literature in a way that is both thought-provoking and relevant to students. Students who complete the Diploma program will graduate with an accredited diploma.
Fine Arts Education
For Art and Music courses, students will be transported from MCPA to Morthland College’s Conservatory of Music and the Arts located in Whitfield Hall on Main Street in West Frankfort. Course offerings will be available on the Conservatory’s website, morthlandcollegeconservatory.com. Students can choose from courses ranging from private music lessons, to participating in choir, to drawing and writing courses.
Physical Education classes are available at the West Frankfort Aquatic Center
